Suzie and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Dewey. There is so little that one can say but if there is one tiny light that I can give you and your family it would be this: I know how all consuming such a loss is. Dewey will always be with you of course but with time it becomes more about the life you all had with him and not the loss. With time the path forward becomes clearer. The confusion and emptiness fade, memories and family heal and restore you to a new balance. So keep the memories and your family close.
I did not stay in touch with you nearly as much as I would have liked to but Kim always speaks of the daily goings on so I have maintained that connection. Kim spoke of nothing but respect, love and gratitude for Dewey and your friendship with her and for that I also remain grateful. I hope you will consider my home as yours if in the future you want to come back to St Thomas for a visit.
My thoughts and Prayers are with you. Dawn

Suzie,

Lynn and I were saddened to hear about the passing of your husband and our friend Dewey. Dewey always treated Lynn and I with respect and it seemed as though he was always in an "up" mood. He always brought a smile to my face.I will always remember the visits I made to your home in Devon with Rob Williams in the late 70's and early 80's. God Bless you and your family.

To: Sandra & Miriam and the Boston Family,
My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. As you grieve know that I honor the memory of your Brother.
"Butchie" always cared and wanted the best for all of you. He was a good Man and a great listener; remember his famous,"Now, how are you really doing??"
Keep his kindness in your heart and soul as you move forward.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
With Sympathy, Kim

To the Martin Family:
My heart is heavy with the sudden loss of Dewey. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that you are in my Prayers. I know there isn't much I can say or do to ease the pain and emptiness you feel right now, but may it comfort you to know that others love and support you all... Mona & Millie too !!
Susie, I cannot tell you how many times(over the past 35 years)Dewey told me how lucky he was to have YOU, as the love of his life. Treasure that truth always.
Wesley & Nicholas, Your Dad was so very proud of the men you have become. Fall back on the foundation he laid, it was good and pure.
Dear Noah, You brought him great joy and pride with big hopes for the future. Grandpa was a special person, I know lives on in you.
I hope you ALWAYS know how special you all were to him...
Dewey brought so many gifts to my life. I will never forget him.
With sincere sympathy, Kim

So very saddened to hear about Dewey's recent passing. I can hardly believe that it was so many years ago when we were all on the island together and when you and he became an item. He was a great guy and my heart goes out to you and your boys. Find comfort in all the good times you shared.
