Francesca Marie BERRY

BERRY, Francesca Marie (Ball) Age 92, of Scituate, passed away, on February 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Thomas Jenner Berry, Jr., with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, before his passing in 2016.

Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Harrington) Ball. Nancy, as everyone got to know her as, attended Brookline High School and was voted most athletic two years in a row. She followed her then boyfriend, Thomas, to Springfield College for four years. They married and adopted three children, moved to Easton and built hundreds of friendships with a lot of people. Mom got into committees and plays and was a trustee at Massasoit for three years. She loved to travel, ski and in my opinion and many others, was a phenomenal cook! She loved her grandkids to pieces and kept in touch with her first daughter-in-law, Pat!

Visiting Hours will take place at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE, on Thursday, March 13, from 3 to 7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 14, at 10am, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Burial immediately following, at Groveland Cemetery.
