A many years ago, (about mid 90s?)
I was honored and blessed to have worked a few weeks at Mr Avrushs home. I enjoyed going there because Mrs Avrush was more like a friend than a boss. She taught me how to iron professionally, dress shirts and we enjoyed a brunch or two. I was telling someone about my adventures and looked up the family, and saw this memorial. Thank you for those brief but wonderful moments in Newton Mrs. Avrush. Thank you definitely for your kindness to my daughters. My condolences to all the family, especially the Mrs., and will be praying for you all.

This is really weird for me, I was just talking about BOZO THE CLOWN to my friend/roommate. If he ever watched his shows in the mornings as a kid. But my friend is 6 yrs older than self, and I now live in Texas so maybe his shows didn't come on down here, but I remember him very well and remember telling my parents that I wanted to be on show. I just couldn't get enough of watching his shows.
You are missed by many folks and not FORGOTTEN.

To The Avruch Family,

I grew up a couple of doors down from The Avruch's on Sagamore Ave. I remember the Avruch's all coming together during the Summer's. I'm 60 years old now and these memories of the Avruch family are over 50 years old and very fond to me. I especially remember Avruch family members who I believe were Frank's Niece and Nephew's Lois, Jimmy & Michael. Although I was only a kid at the time, I remember Frank and his parents treating me as if I were family. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I would like to extend my condolences to the family, friends and fans of Frank Avruch. As a child growing up in Lynn, Massachusettes I remember fondly, Bozo the Clown. I watched him on the local television station and thought he was just a local celebrity. Now I'm reading that his reach was far greater. Perhaps he is the reason why I'm not afraid of clowns? I am sorry for your loss of a very nice man. Please be assured and comforted that God too, feels your pain and promises a time in the very near future when such things as sickness, suffering, pain and death will be conditions of the past. Isaiah 61:1,2.
