Frank never liked the fact that me (being a girl) could actually keep up with his professional fishing preformances! So when every fishing season started me and Frank would have a competition on who ever could catch the biggest bass before the season ended.. Each fish caught had to be held up with a picture for evidence.. And so the winner got to make the looser do anything they chose. I was the winner last time, and I told Frank that he was to come down to the dockside wearing his finest dress, some makeup, a wig (that I gave him to borrow) & of course he had to shave his legs to complete the whole look!!! I thought my idea was brilliant but Frank thought otherwise!! Needless to say I guess my idea was maybe a little bit overboard so Frank never followed thru with it.. But I wonder what it would actually look like if Frank did get all DOLLED up!! And then being able to see all his friends faces if he walked into the dockside bar looking like a HOT MESS!! I know that image will stay in my memory forever!! I hope I helped his loved ones smile even if for a minute.. my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. He was one special man & he was loved by everyone who knew him!!

To the entire Cresta family, I am so sorry to hear about Frankie. He was truly one of a kind from the Franklin School through adulthood. I was glad to run into him over the summer. My thoughts are with you all. He will always be remembered as the one that could make everyone laugh and smile.

To the Cresta family,
I am so saddened to hear of Frankie's passing. I've known him since he was a little boy, and always loved his adorable smile and sharp-witted sense of humor. In later years, Frankie was one of my Biology students at WHS, and was so much fun to have in my class! Recently, I'd run into Frankie frequently around town and am really going to miss that happy face and big personality. My heart breaks for all of you, and for his many dear friends.
With deepest sympathy,

We have truly been lucky in life when we meet someone as rare as Frank. He never took him self too seriously, and was always quick to put a smile on your face. My endearing memory of him was when he took over that water polo game in the pool in Mexico Between him and Chris Leahy, they made me laugh harder than I can ever remember. Jim and Tina I can think of no greater loss than losing a child and my heart goes out to you. We will all keep you in our prayers and Frankie's memory alive because every time I smile I will think of him. Rest in peace bigman!!!!

Cresta Family,
There are no words to make this any easier on you all. My heart breaks for each and every one of you. I was one of the fortunate enough to know Frankie, and how he could bring a smile to your face without even saying a word. You are all in my prayers and heart every day. May god help you and give you the strength to make it through this each and every day. With a heavy heart and love to you all.

I keep hoping this isn't real, but then someone mentions another story referring to Frankie in the past tense and it hits me all over again. Frankie and I went to school together all 12 years. He was a great friend and an absolute pleasure to be around, always. This loss is unfair and unfathomable. Everyone's going to miss you SO much, Frankie.
Sending love and prayers to everyone who knew and loved Frankie.

Frankie,
You were the best person I had ever met. I will cherish the time I had with you and the memories we made. You only get one first love and I thank God you were mine....I got very lucky. Life won't be the same without you, listening to Metallica won't be the same without you, this town won't be the same without, I won't be the same without you. I miss you and I love you.
