Uncle Guy was, is, and will always be a very, very special person. For as long as I can remember Uncle Guy supported me, my brother and sister, and all of my cousins and second cousins as if we were his own children. Growing up, Uncle Guy was almost like a grandfather to me. I'll never forget his many travels to my football games dating back from Pop Warner, all the way through college. He would brag to anybody who would listen about his football-playing nephew. I remember his big smile, his classic stories, and his warm heart. He really is a true American hero. An Italian immigrant who fought for our freedoms and protected the city streets of Boston. They truly don't make them like him anymore. I can only hope to honor him by being as good of an uncle to my niece and nephews. He left enormous shoes to fill. With love, Mark Spinelli

Gaetano is my grandfather. He was a great man and helped shape alot of lives. He taught me alot in my 29 years... He brought me to almost every baseball practice, football games, lacrosse camps, taught me how to drive, how to love life and always stood up for my siblings and me. He was as social as they come and loved his family and friends very much. He's with my grandmother now, dancing and singing. I love you, papa, and I miss you so much.

Mr. Spinelli,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served with the BPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
