Carolyn, I was unable to attend the Coast Guard Auxilary service for George due to work, and the final exam for our King Philip Boating course, but I wanted to send my sympathy. George will be missed, his stories kept me entertained on several patrols aboard RAVE-ON. I still think of him each time I teach Piloting, he taught me a few tricks that I often use both in class and on my boat. Flotilla 69 members shared memories of George at our June Flotilla meeting, we will miss seeing him at Auxiliary events.

We send our deepest sympathy to Carolyn and to George's children and family. We won't be able to attend the services in person, but we will most certainly be there in spirit and will remember George, Carolyn and the family in our prayers.
