GLADYS SADOW

SADOW, Gladys (Cohen) Gladys (Cohen ) Sadow passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was the widow of Henry Sadow. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Evelyn Cohen. Gladys was a member of Temple Beth El of Springfield, MA and its sisterhood and Hadassah. She was a tax preparer and supervisor for H & R Block in Enfield, CT for 30 years. She was the dearly loved mother of Joyce & David Lowenstein of East Granby, CT and Janice & Richard Epstein of Needham, MA and the grandmother to 3 adored grandchildren, Jared Lowenstein and Ariel & Rogers Epstein. She is survived by a sister, Irma Leibowitz, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her nurse Lisa, her aid Angela, and the caregivers at Pioneer Valley Home Care for all their help and support. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Beth El Cemetery, 350 Kings Highway, West Springfield, MA. Shiva will be held Thursday at 7:00 PM at 217 Williams St., Longmeadow, MA. A family visitation will be Sunday, April 9th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the home of Janice and Rich Epstein at 75 Highland Ter. in Needham, MA.
