(Harzbecker) Of West Roxbury, May 30, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Gordon S. MacTaggart. Loving mother of Robert MacTaggart and his wife Lois of West Roxbury, Donald MacTaggart of Revere, Kevin MacTaggart and his wife Linda of Saugus and Nancy Mileikis and her late husband John of Bourne. Cherished grandmother of Laura Dower, Jennifer Cabral-Winkler, Kevin MacTaggart, Jessica Britt, Mark MacTaggart, Bryan Mileikis, Andrew MacTaggart, and Sarah Mileikis. Loving great grandmother of Cameron, Myles, Olivia, Nathaniel, Ava, Jackson, Alana and Alessandra. Devoted sister of Joseph Harzbecker, and the late Robert Harzbecker, June MacDonald, Marion Connolly and Frank Harzbecker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY on Tuesday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre Street at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Helen's name to the Deutsches Altenheim, 2222 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.

One of the all-time greats. I'm so sorry. And sorry that I could not attend the wake and funeral for such a wonderful friend. (I'm working in Germany.)
Helen welcomed us into her home and was always ready for good conversation - and advice.

Mrs. MacTaggart was a wonderful mother to her children and a long-time supporter to the band kids in St. Theresa's West Roxbury. She always had a smile and a welcoming hug. My deepest sympathy to Robert, Donald, Kevin, and Nancy. May Helen rest in peace.
