HELEN MARY MCMORROW

1921 - 2016

McMORROW, Helen Mary 95, of Wrentham, passed peacefully on May 6, 2016 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wrentham. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. McMorrow. Born in Canton on April 1, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Edith (Diette) Gorman. Helen was a graduate of St. Johns School in Canton. For many years she was co-owner and operator with her husband Francis of the Sheldonville Variety Store in Sheldonville. She loved her family greatly and her greatest joy was in spending time with them. Helen is survived by her children; Francis P. McMorrow of Wrentham, Jean Bean and her husband Dennis of Lancaster, MA, Janet Barber and her husband Keith of North Attleboro, Nancy Gulino and her husband John of Wrentham, James J. McMorrow and his wife Jeanne of Wrentham, and Mary Ellin and her husband Steven of Franklin, a sister; Rita Harkins of Canton, eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul McMorrow, sister of the late Shirley Eardley, and Philip Gorman, and mother in law of the late Lynne McMorrow. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, May 11th from 4-8 PM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 12th at 9 AM in St. Mary's Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham. Burial will follow in Wrentham Center Cemetery.
