JAMES COUGHLIN Obituary

COUGHLIN, James W. Of Quincy, formerly of South Boston, March 3, 2016. Devoted father of Dionne K. O'Toole, her husband Timothy of Wrentham, Timothy J. Coughlin of Wrentham and Lauren M. Coughlin of North Attleboro. Loving grandfather of Kylie, Tady, Bronwyn, and Roan O'Toole all of Wrentham. Former husband of Patricia (Redmond) Coughlin. Loving son of the late William E. and Mary (MacDonald) Coughlin. Dear brother of Helen M. McPhail of Boston and Uncle to her daughter's Peggy and Gloria McPhail. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jim was a late veteran of Vietnam, US Army Airborne, 101st Airborne Div., Screaming Eagles. Visiting hours will be held in the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Monday from 4-8PM Prayer services will be held Tuesday in the funeral home at 10:00AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend all services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jims memory to the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108, http://nechv.convio.net/donate.
