I was very saddened to hear of jay passing. I had come to know Jay very well over over the past 5 years . We both shared a passion for health care information technology and worked together on a project to advance technology at hospital.

I remember clearly the day Jay broke the news of his illness. The condition he had was unfortunately the worse case scenario where survival is measured in months.
Despite this terrible predicament, Jay continued to work with great dedication on the project. I never detected any dampening of his of enthusiasm. His vision remained steadfast

Jay impressed me with the consideration he showed towards others. He did not let his illness keep him from helping others.
During his last days, I remember while he was gravely ill in the hospital, he still found time to email a prospective job candidate, letting her know the status of her application and even took the extra step to advance her application to the next level.

Jay demonstrated the traits of people who achieve great things. Although fate did not not allow him to complete his work, he has given us inspiration to continue on the path that he set.

The many lessons he taught us, his sense of bravery and his resoluteness in the face of a tragic illness, and his kindness towards others, will always be with us, and guiding us throughout our lives. For this, we will always be ever grateful.
I'll miss you Jay.

Words can not express the sadness and loss we feel in losing our dear friend Jay. Our love and prayers go out to Andrea, Tessa and Jamie. Our fondest memories are of watching many Patriot games with Jay and sharing his joy and outrage at their many wins and losses. I also have great memories of fishing with Jay and the many laughs we had together when Jack lost a fish and the joy in landing that big one. We will miss Jay and think of him every time we watch a Patriot game and when I go fishing to the many different lakes we fished together. Mary Ann & Dan Gray
