I met Jimmy in Cedar
Key, Fl a number of years ago then saw him for 4 summers in North Truro. I loved talking sports with him. He was a witty and special friend and I will miss him.

Dear Jim,
My Jim spoke so often of you, and the group of you in the early days of the Labor Studies program who used to gather of an evening after class and parse the Labor movement, class struggles, your individual struggles, the world - all over a glass or two, of course. You were part of the foundation of the Labor Resource Center, setting the tone, joining hands, enjoying the hell out of each other: you, Wally, Cosmic Tim, Janice, Darlene & Mike B - you all created an energy that Jim hoped the program would continue to generate. Jim wrote about you, as Wally reminded us today, and what it meant to have a student, a person, like you to commune with. You, Jim and Tim must raise a cosmic glass for the rest of us; we will carry on, and we'll be along soon enough.

Members of the O'Halloran family,
I was saddened to learn of the death of your father. We were on our union's executive committee together; he always was honest and put our unions best interest first. I am very sorry, I will keep him in my prayers at this difficult time.
