JAMES WHITE Obituary

WHITE, James Wilson Of Brookline, passed away on Tuesday, April 29th at the age of 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Margareta White of Brookline, daughter Monica Soonie White of Brookline, and son Erik White and his wife Nadege of Roxbury. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his older brother William White and wife Lynn, of Sewickley, PA, sister Alice Robin and husband Mel of Upper Black Eddy, PA and sister Sarah Sellers of Alameda, CA as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He served the town of Brookline for 28 years in the planning department before retiring and moving on and reigniting his love for sailing. In this vain, he explored tirelessly, culminating in his crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. He also sailed to the Caribbean on a number of occasions. His love for his family also led him to take up genealogy where he traced generations that preceded the Mayflower. A celebration of his life will be arranged by his family and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Antioch College, 1 Morgan Place, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387.
