TRAKADAS, Joanna

(Giannaros) 88, of Natick, died Friday October 30, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Georgios Trakadas. A Natick resident for 53 years, she was born in Addis Abba Ethiopia the daughter of the late Dimitrios and Theologia (Belonias) Giannaros. Mrs. Trakadas worked for over 25 years at Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham. She was a wonderful cook, had a "green thumb" in maintaining her garden, and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons Nicolas Trakadas and his wife Rosemary of Natick and James Trakadas and his wife Anne of Grafton, her sister Flora Souris and her husband Peter of Wellesley, grandchildren Stephen, Ariana,George, Gina, Nicole,Tony, Alex, great-granddaughter Leah, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Spiro and George Giannaros, and Eleni Frantzoglou. Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 4 at 11:00 A.M. in St Demetrios Church, 57 Brown Street, Weston. Visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. In the Church prior to the service. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Wellesley.
