Mrs. Bortz and family,
I am so sad to hear from my parents about your loss. I have good memories of your family and Mr. Bortz from the neighborhood growing up and always seeing him cheerfully serving at St. Elizabeth's. I know he had a strong relationship with the Lord and put that faith into action. You both have been special friends to my parents. We are keeping you in our prayers for comfort. We grieve with you and send our love.

Mrs. Bortz and family:
I was saddened to hear that Mr. Bortz had passed away. I will forever remember his zest for life, his positive attitude, and his perfect jack knifes off the board at Patriot's Hill Pool. You're in my prayers.

I will always appreciate the great example that Jack was. He was a devoted husband and father, and a man of deep faith. His sense of humor always filled the room and his legacy of service to God, family, and friends will help carry the burden his leaving brings.
Rest in Peace Jack

Our dear Lord needed a good man and he called on Jack. Our prayers go out to you and the family. Stacey called to tell us. I know how close Joanne was with her brother so, considering the circumstances this is so difficult for the whole family. God bless you all.

To the Bortz and Fahey family,
It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember; the laughs, the stories, the smiles.
And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.
May God comfort you all during this difficult time.
