FINN, Joseph E. "Joe" Age 67, of Medfield, MA, passed away on June 15, 2022 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou Finn for 40 years. He was adored by his children, Michael Finn and wife Heather Finn, Matthew Finn, and Mary Katherine Finn. Proud grandfather to Olivia Finn and Connor Joseph Finn. Devoted brother to Rita, Eileen, Bob, and Kevin Finn; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Gertrude Finn and raised in Laurel Hallow, NY. He graduated from Fairfield University in 1977 and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He was a member of the Varsity Basketball team and went on to play professionally in France. Joe worked in banking and wealth management in the greater Boston area throughout his career. Notably, he worked for Bank Boston, Eastern Bank, and most recently Argent Wealth Management. Joe had a zest for life and his family which was evident by those who loved him dearly. He could light up a room with his laughter and countless stories. Joe enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his wife and children, and visiting his grandchildren. He was an avid Boston sports fan. He was a Medfield resident for 39 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Joe to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. Family and friends are warmly invited to Joe's Visiting Hours at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home in MEDFIELD on Friday, June 24th, from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday, June 25th at St. Edwards the Confessor Church, Medfield.

Mary Lou and family... we are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We have so many fond memories of shared times together (albeit a long time ago). One of my very fond everlasting memories of Joe was when at one time of many, that he came to my house located in Westfield, NJ along with 2 other of our cohorts, Leo Nolan and Pete Holland. I remember it being on a very hot summer day, and being the hilarious jokester that Hank was, we all turned around and found Joe sitting down, with whatever he could fit of his large body, sitting in a "child´s kiddie pool" full of water, laughing at all of us while smoking a big cigar and of course, drinking an ice cold beer.
Just picture that big smiling face of his and the vision of the majority of his large frame trying to fit inside of a 4 foot round by 1 foot deep pool. I´m sure that the great majority of the water that was originally in the pool was no longer there by the time he was finished cooling off and got out.
If I only had a camera with me at the time, the picture would have definitely been a winner on America´s Funniest Videos.
