Josephine was a wonderful lady, whom I got to know when she volunteered at St Anthony Shrine. I had the privilege of working with her and spending time with her. She was always happy and pleasure to talk to and share memories. She love to tease me and joke we spent a great deal of time, laughing, and enjoying one another´s company. so often, I would see her at mass and we would stop and talk and reminisce about the fun we had in the craft group. Josephine has been a great loss, and I miss her gentle manner and her happy smile. Mike and Dylan says to her family and loved ones.

Jo was such a special Lady. We had recently become pen pals reminiscing about our travels and our great lunches at The Winthrop Arms. My thoughts and prayers are with the family she loved so much.

JoJo was like a second grandmother to my daughter Kristen. They had a special bond unlike anything I have ever seen. They shared letters and stories and each time Kristen came back from California the first person she wanted to see was her JoJo. Ironically on the day JoJo passed, Kristen found a letter in her mailbox from JoJo. It had been delayed but I believe it was her way of telling Kristen she will be ok. JoJo will forever live on in our memories. What an incredible life she led. We all should be so lucky.

First, I want to send my sincerest condolences to Jo's family. I got to know her during my ten years or so at St. Anthony's while having the privilege and great pleasure of working with the Seniors Program. Jo was a regular of that community and she was loved as she loved us.
