My deepest sympathy to the Mrs Parker`s family . I did not attend the Dearborn Middle School but did volunteer with Mrs Parker to keep eye on the youth I was working with in orchard park Housing Development . She was so dedicated to the youth of O.P , my time with Mrs Parker I learned so much about being dedicated to the youth and the community of Roxbury , I would not be in the position as Athletic Director at the Roxbury Boys & Girls Club with out her teaching . Mrs Parker will be missed but we all will take a part of her with us .
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." Matthew 16:24-25
I love you so Parker - REST IN PEACE -

Mrs. Parker was a dedicated professional. She always treated every student with the same caring fashion that left a lasting impression on all that she encountered. Former student and basketball player at Dearborn Middle School 86-88 grades 6 & 7.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Parker's family & friends. I was a student and basketball player of hers at the Dearborn Middle School from 87-89'. She was such a great woman! We spent many afternoons with her during basketball seasons and she always kept us girls laughing and always made sure she kept us in line. She certainly left a lasting impression on me as a teacher and a coach as I still thought of her from time to time even after 25+ years. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of her and may she rest in peace.
