After a seven year stint serving as the Associate Medical Examiner for Middlesex Country, Dr. Tedeschi was appointed the Chief Medical Examiner of Middlesex County in 1977, a position he held for 10 years solving crimes using forensic evidence in the MetroWest region. Dearest Elaine,
I will always remember the wedding at Boothbay that you & Luke rescued me from!! He just immediatly went into "action" mode, wrapped an apron around him & served the people as if he had always done this!! And most obviously he has always in other capacities "served the people" in his brilliant & generous medical career with his keen instinct & devotion for the better interests of people in need.
Love goes to you & your beautiful family at this tender time.
Janice

Dear Elaine, Mark, Peter and Paul
When Luke lived at Windsor Green we were good friends and I vividly remember him riding his bike and entertaining his "boys". Those were good days and I will always remember him that way. Elaine, you were lucky to have been able to spend 32 years together and I am sure the happy, wonderful, memories you have will sustain you and the family, as you go through this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Judy Berman

Dear Elaine and family,
What a great man, what a great loss, Luke will never be replaced. My heart aches and I am saddened for the loss of my dear friend, my wonderful mentor. Working for Luke was not only a position of integrity, but also a lesson in life. Every day promised a journey into the scientific world of forensics as well as a lesson into the humanities. I would look forward to our days in Pathology because Dr. T always treated his staff with respect and encouragement. He always made us feel that we too were skilled and an important part of his department. My children looked up to him with admiration as they grew up in the atmosphere of FUH and the Pathology Department. They felt a genuine warmth and understaNding during their many talks with Dr. T. No one has, or will ever fill your shoes Luke. Rest in Peace my dear, dear friend. You will never be forgotten as there will never be another you. GOD BLESS YOU LUKE.
With Love and Respect. Natalie Motta and family.

I was saddened to hear of Luke's passing. Many years ago I had worked in the Pathology Dept with Luke & Cesar. I have such fond memories of Luke, his kind heart, expertise as a professional as well as the many stories of his children. He was such a proud father and devoted son. May your wonderful memories sustain all of you during this difficult time. My thoughts & prayers are with you and I too, will always remember the wonderful man he was.
