MARTIN F. "MARTY" FITZPATRICK

FITZPATRICK, Martin F. "Marty" Of Milton, known affectionately as Marty to his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly, on August 16, 2025. Marty was born to the late Patrick J. and Ann C. Fitzpatrick, a family grounded in love and unity. He was a brother to Patricia A. Healy of Holbrook, James F. Fitzpatrick and his late wife, Eileen, of Scituate, Michael G. Fitzpatrick and his wife, Sheila, of West Roxbury, John J. Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Mary Ellen Comer and her husband, Kieran, of Milton, and William J. Fitzpatrick and his wife, Erin, of Quincy. Marty's role as an uncle was one of his greatest joys, and he was a cherished figure in the lives of his nieces and nephews: Edward, Sean, Maura, Michael, James, Katy, Liam, Conor, John, Jr., Emily, Christopher, Ash, Geralyn, Patrick, Brendan, and Caroline. His love also extended to his great-nieces and nephews, Josh, Seamus, Donovan, Kellan, Ryan, Claire, Kiera, Bridget, Seamus, and Cassandra, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Marty was predeceased by his great friend, Bobby Jansen, whom they shared a lifetime of friendship. A friend that extended to Bobby's parents, Marty became a second son to the Jansen family. Visiting Hours for Marty and Ann will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., MILTON, on Thursday, August 21, from 4:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held for them both at St. Agatha Parish, Milton, on August 22, at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
