Dr. Megan Evans was our children's Pediatrician since our children were born 8 years ago and I learned today of her passing. At one point our infant boys, 13 months apart began having frequent ear infections and my husband and I would be there it seemed like every Friday last appointment each week. She would call us the dynamic duo and always made sure to see us directly anytime she could and quickly recommended a specialist and tubes; which cured the issue. We are so grateful for the care you have shown our family over the past 8 years. Megan showed compassion and a kindness and realness that was refreshing; she even remembered my own health challenges and would ask about them at our children's well check ups each year. She will be missed and my condolences to her family and friends. - Frithsen Family North Reading, MA

Because Megan was the youngest of 27 cousins, I didn't get to know her. I would have been almost in Junior High school when she was born. But I do remember a WHITE family reunion in 2003 in CT when she came and I briefly met Gillian and Hillary. I remember a sweet, lovely young woman. I have no doubt she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and patients. When she was in High School she did a White family genealogy for which I have been most grateful. In fact I had hoped to connect with her to see if she knew more details. I ask our Heavenly Father to demonstrate his loving comfort to her family and friends. This has certainly been a sad time for all. Cousin -Connie Ellis Wilson in Colorado

We are next door neighbors of Megan´s and are shocked and saddened to learn of this news. We only recently started getting to know Megan after she moved in next door. When she moved in, she was instantly friendly & outgoing and was always neighborly with a wave or a Hello holler across the drive. We were happy to have such a pleasant and friendly neighbor and will really miss having her as our kind neighbor and friend. Much sympathy and sending love to Megan´s family and loved ones.

I knew you originally as Dr. Evans, my children's doctor.
We loved you. All of us. There was something genuine and grounding that we immediately recognized. And selfishly I knew I wanted to be friends with you.
Several years later, it happened naturally (I refrained from asking directly, because is it appropriate to ask your child's doctor if they want to hang out after you discuss their immunization print outs for school). I was lucky enough to cross paths with you in a charity circle.
I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the luck to have met such a fun, smart, caring, fun and funny (you are hilarious!) person.
My deep sympathies to your family. My heart weeps.

Heartfelt condolences to Megan´s beloved family, friends, coworkers and patients! We saw her many times at NA Pedi and are so grateful for her care and wisdom! I saw Megan at a spin class on January 8, where she was friendly, fit and kicking butt, as always.
