To Noreen and family,
I was thinking of Mike this morning and decided to write a short note. I loved Mike. We worked together at Otis. Mike was a man of honor, dedication and courage. Over my long career there are a few people that were just great to be around and Mike was one of them. Mike was a lucky man. He has by his side the beautiful and sweet Noreen. She was at his side over a long and rewarding life. I was so hearbroken over his death. I have lived on the island of Aruba for many years and have not spoken to Noreen since his passing. It is heartwarming to think after all these years Mike's image brings a smile to my face.

God bless all of you. I love you guys. I know I have needed my own space for my own grief as of late, but you are still always in my thoughts and prayers. The thought of, and the pictures of Fuzza could bring a smile to my face on even the darkest of days (:

To our Loving Family and Friends
On this day, two years ago, we were faced with a reality we did not
wish to accept. Each of you have your own very special moments and memories of our Mike (Fuzza"). For those of you who were Blessed by his
Smile and His Presence, you understand the depth of our pain.
Memories have a way of presenting themselves when you need them, and at times, when you least expect them. We all know what is lost to us, but I would appreciate it if you
would remember what Mike lost on this day, two years ago. He gave all that he was to each of us. He also had so much more to give. Love,
Friendship, Smiles, Laughter. He had so many dreams and hopes for our future. We are so grateful for all that he taught us and left us with to carry on his name and his legacy. We thank each and every one
of you who continue to Honor Mike. Each act of rememberance fills our hearts. There are so many of you that continue to keep him in your thoughts and in your hearts. You have truly shown us what a powerful impact he had on all those who were blessed by his presence. As his Family, we were and continue to be reminded every day of the gift we were given in the Spirit that can only be Mike "Fuzza".
Once again, we thank-you all for what you have done in his Name. I wish could express to you what it means to us as his Family. For today
please take a moment to share with Mike. I know when you do, you will SMILE. He will be SMILING right back at you as only he can.
With Our Gratitude
Noreen (Renee) and Our
Children

Nothing I could ever say would even come close to describing what we had together and as family for so long. I won't even try to. I don't need to, you know! I can still see so clearly the smile and so vividly hear the hearty laughs we used to share. He will always be a part of the memories of some of the best times in my life. I love you Renee. I love you Steven. I love you all and am so thankful to be back in all of your lives. We need to all remember how fast time goes by and we must all cherish what we still have in our lives and stop wasting time. At least I do. You really never understand "One day at a time" , but once you really understand it you really need to live it and remember it. Camping, softball, dances, Icypaa. Oh my God, I could go on forever.Now my back hurts (: Time flies. Renee, destroy the pictures. Love you and I'll talk to you soooon!! Bobby B

To our friends from our past,
It isn't very often at this time in my life that i am capable of
the emotion of gratitude. To all of you who have now heard of this painful loss, and acknowledged Fuzza and honored him and our family with your kind words and support we do feel a form of gratitude. Each time a word is spoken, a memory of what he brought into your life we are grateful and also reminded of just how many people he reached and touched that was so unique, I can only believe that his spirit,his SMILE, Acceptance, patience, Forgiveness,
Love of Life, Family and friends is forever. Fuzza'a compassions and empathy for others as well as his sense of humor has been passed on to so many simply because he lived it.He is one of just a few that wore no mask. He simply liked the person he was and for all of you that were given the gift of his friendship and loyalty I am so happy for you. I have to believe his life is eternal and that I will one day be with him again. You that have remembered our Love,friendship and the blessing of our being One Heart and spoke of it in your posting, I thank-you that you were able to be part of our One Heart. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.Always remember his phylosophy of life.SMILE and pass it on to others. He will forever remain in our hearts. We look forward to seeing all of you again. Missing all of you from ICYPAA.With Love, Renee

Dearest Renee,
Just recently heard this terribly sad news from Hope. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Please know you and Fuzza always had a special place in my heart. I can still picture the two of you together - laughing and so much in love. I do hope you can feel him with you - loving you from his very special place in heaven. You and your family are in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers.
With love,

For Mike and I, your postings on his Legacy sight bring a smile and awareness of the impact he has on all those blessed to have been a part of his life. Thank-you so much for sharing your experience in Boston with Mike. I know so much of what Mike did each day to reach to others but I don't know it all. Mike always did for others in a very humble manner. He did not have the need to be thanked,acknowledged or patted on the back for it. For Mike, it was enough that he reached out to help. Whatever you can share, I am deeply grateful for.
With Gratitude

I was thinking of Mike the other day and I remembered something he did one day that showed what a good heart he had.
We were working on a job in Boston and we were coming back from lunch, it was a bitter cold ,rainy winters day, we were crossing the street when all of a sudden Mike said I 'll be right back. I turned to see Mike go over to this homeless man who had no coat and was shivering, Mike took off his new woolen shirt and put it on the man, when i asked him why he did that he said " he needs it more than me'
just goes to show you what a great guy Mike was. I just wanted to share that with you, but then again you are his wife ,you know what a good person he was!!! We need more people like Mike !!

Dear Noreen ~ how strange it is the way the universe works. Yesterday Suzanne called us to tell us she had run into a mutual friend she hadn't seen in ages and he told her that Fuzza had died as the result of an elevator accident last year. Last night I called Michael Connors to tell him (and Stacie). Then Connors wanted to talk to Suzanne. We all are sooo sad. You and Fuzza were soooo 'in love'. Michael and I feel the loss of a wonderful man with a smile that could knock anyone over, who cherished his family so very much. It has been years since we've seen you both, up in Beverly at Mike and Sheila's I think. It sounds like your kids, grandkids, friends and extended family are surrounding you with love. You will forever have Fuzza Noreen - he loved you so. God Bless. Know there are lots of us out there who are just getting the news about Fuzza. We too will keep his memory alive. Now I have to go find the boxes and boxes of pictures from the days we were all together. Much love from Michael too ~ Hope

Noreen,
I ran into Bobby B at Burlington mall last weekend. How sad I was to learn about Fuzza's passing. Haven't been able to get it off my mind. I don't know if he told you but I ran into him here at my building right around the same time as the accident. He said he would be doing more work in our building so I would be seeing more of him. We had the nicest conversation outside on the steps and I was oh so thrilled to have made contact with him and hear all about you and the rest of the family. For over a year I have always been on the look out for him, having no idea that such tragedy had occurred. I cannot express how truly sorry I am for your loss. He was definitely one of the "Great Ones" and someone I will never forget. His smile was infectious to everyone around him and I really believe that he continues to smile down at all of us, especially his family who he was so so proud of.
Noreen, there is no way I can express the depth of my sorrow for your loss. I'm sorry does not seem like enough.
Spoke with Hope and Michael who had no idea either. Hope has spoken with Michael C and Stacey who also had no idea.
Although we haven't seen each other in years, it seems like yesterday that we were all hanging out together all the time. I hate how life goes on and we lose touch with those who are important to us. This had made me realize how important it is to keep those that we love and care about close at bay. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to see Fuzz that day. I will always remember his wonderful smile and quick wit.
Love ya lots,
Suzanne (ICYPAA 87)

We somehow continue on,perhaps it's the denial,maybe that I still believe you will walk in the door with that wonderful smile and we will have our talk over coffee.How lost we are without you. I know we will forever have your Love,guidance,and innerstrength. You told me so and I know you did not lie to me. Time goes by but the pain does not ease. I know what you are telling me and I will continue my efforts to be all that you want me to be. You know how much you taught me by your example and someday, when my quest is over, I'll reach that unreachable star.I know you will be there.

We now enter our third month without your presence. When I wonder
how we do it, I so often hear you tell me "I'm still right here for as
long as you need me". All I have to do is look over my shoulder and I know you are right there. So many people continue to honor you in their own special ways and it helps my shattered heart. Know that the children and I, our grandchildren,
your brother, 3 sisters, my family,
cousins,nieces and nephews,your best
friend, all friends,your favorite
golf partners,your friends at Otis
Elevator and all the people you
touched in your extrodinary way down
town, our neighbors, people I've yet
to meet that you knew, every day do
at least one thing that i know brings you closer,that carries on
your philosophy and your legacy.
They smile and pass it on. My question up until just a few weeks
ago was how do I live without you and I know for today the answer is that I don't have to because you are right here with us.
Forever my Love

THIS DAY THAT I WAS AFRAID OF JUST YESTERDAY, ENDED UP BEING ALL THAT YOU WOULD HAVE WANTED. SO MANY OF US GATHERED TOGETHER ON THE CAPE TO CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY. When is it time Dad
I just want to remember?
Every laugh, joke and smile;
I just want to remember,
Too help me past the time awhile;
When is it time, to remember?
It’s all going to be OK,
When is it time, for all of us?
To walk our chosen ways;
When is it time too?
Let go and say goodbye;
When is the right time to unleash?
The emotions that let you cry;
When is the right time, to remember?
The memories that make you smile,
When is the right time, to reach back out?
For the faith, that has passed you by for awhile
When is it time to remember?
The struggles we have all fought through;
When is it time to remember?
The smiles from me to you;
When is it time, for you to tell us?
It’s time to move along?
When is it time for us to sit?
And here your favorite song;
The time is now that we remember,
The smile that all of us can see,
Because it is that smile that we remember
That will grace us, for eternity;
All the times, that has past us by;
So as I sit back and remember,
I look slowly and gently towards the clouds,
Knowing in my heart, and remembering in my mind,
That you have taught us all, how too fly.
Dad I know it time for you to go.
You’ve achieved your parting ways;
But as I speak for the ones that remember you,
You’ll be thought of until our dieing days;
Your smile your happiness, the way you,
Kept everything in control;
Your wife, your children, grandchildren,
And your brothers and sisters will miss you.
More than you’ll ever know’
With all my love, and the memories I hold close to my heart
You Son David

Mike, I'm hearbroken, I wished I had told you how much you meant to me, you were not "just" my brother-in-law, but you were the brother I've never had. You were the "ray of sunshine" we needed each time you walked in our back door. I'll mourn your loss for the rest of my life. But I will cherish the memories of our special times we were together. They were way too few. I realize that now. May this bring us even closer to your wonderful family, Noreen, Bobby, Heather, David and Steven. I see your smile, I know where you are, I will miss you~

Renee,
You know I love you and Fuzza. You have both been a very active and important part of my and Gary's lives. You both have touched us in so many ways and always helped us see "what really matters and what is important in life".
Fuzza, your best friend was an amazing man. No matter what kind of day he may have had, he always had a smile that touched many people way down deep in their heart.....his smile had meaning. His time here was cut short, however, his memory will live within everyone he ever touched and there are many. He lived a simple life, he was honest, he was kind, but most importantly, he was a realist. He didn't tell you "what he thought you/we wanted to hear". He would tell it like it is but then pass the buck to you......in the "Fuzza" sort of way. I know that you already know this but I have to tell you again.....you are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers....just remember that he will always be your guardian angel and watch over you every day. I admire the relationship, the marriage but most importantly the friendship that you both shared. It's not often you see a love so deep and true as you both had. I love you and I am so DEEPLY sorry !
Love, Marsha
