I worked with Mike for many years at Pine Street. When we were just kids we worked the dining room together. We shared lots of laughs with the guests. He was a kind and gentle man who showed immense compassion to those in need. I know you are all very proud of him, as you should be, he was one of a kind. My profound sympathy to his family. My thoughts are with you all.

He was a very good man. I knew him when he was barely a boy and grew up with him. His family should be proud, and his children need to know their dad was a kind soul. Rest well Mike, you did good, that's all we ever want in the end. So proud of you.

When he worked at Pine Street Inn, Paco was a great counselor to the guests, and supported the staff and clinic nurses with his calm management style. We felt safe when he was on shift. I am sure that he brought those same qualities to his work with the BPD and as a husband and father. He was a very good guy and it saddens me to know that he is gone so soon, far too young. My condolences to his family and friends.
