January 8, 2007
We just learned this terribly sad news of Nancy's death from Jan Bacon. We had no idea that she was even sick To all the Douglas Family- John, Keith, Brad and his Family and to the entire Sullivan Family we, the Appleyard Family- Eleanor, Bill, Billy, Jennifer and Maureen offer our heartfelt prayers and deepest love and condolence for God's gentle comfort and strength for each person in this beautful family.. Two summers ago Nancy and I sat outside on our deck at Poppy Beach sharing and reliving so many memories of our children, the boys and Billy, the Sullivan.s and all the Happy "POPPY" Summers - and there were countless ones - memories which shall always be treasured. Nancy was a beautiful woman and her family here was a loving magnificent "Clan" We trust God has guided her to another home of Love. May Peace and God's Blessings be with each one of you you . Sent with our deepest love . Lovingly, The entire Appleyard Family

To the Douglas and Sullivan Families.
I wish to extend my sincere sympathy on your loss. Nancy was a great person who I spent many happy hours at the Archie's basketball and football games. My daughter knows the Sullivan children well but I only knew Loretta and Bob,(the Mom and Dad), Nancy, Joan and Janice.
What a wonderful family. Bob Sullivan was one of my favorite people. He was a very giving person.
Our sincere sympathy.

Nancy and I worked at QMC together. When Nancy came into work in the morning the first she would do is come into my work area and tell me all the jokes she'd heard coming into work on the Lauren&Wally morning show.
