At the start of time man has looked to the sea. Today we look to a man who asked to go back to the sea. With the same outlook he lived his life strong and honest never asking why or why not. Never faulting from his losses only finding his own future. Seeing the potential of his own dreams for his family's sake. I will remember the man I called grampa - a man that showed me moving forward was a part of life never letting me not feel my feelings only increasing my mind and souls ability to find my path telling me to be me and be proud. To him I say trim your sails, point east and find your bearings, hoping for the hug of the lost and answer the cry of the AllFather.

Our family is like the ocean,
it takes and gives like the tides,
unbreakable like the Jetty,
waves that gather and crash,
while beneath the surface all is calm.
It is a wondrous place,
with caverns so deep that they
have never before been seen.
There, you will find my love for you,
my admiration, my respect,
and my hope that you knew
what an impact you had on my life.
I love you, Grandpa

Art, many moons ago, you and I were co-workers @ Industrial Water. I remember your dad very well, especially when he made his frequent A/P phone calls! He was such a pleasure to speak with and he always had a "proud dad" comment to sneak in where you were concerned.
Condolences on the loss of your dad.
