Pamela Packard Obituary

Of Boston died Monday, January 20th at the Sherrill House Nursing Facility in Boston after a lengthy battle with breast cancer at the age of 56. Pamela grew up in Somerville and Lexington and attended Chandler College. Pamela had a successful career with Digital Equipment Corporation for 16 years as a Computer Sales Representative followed by a career with Picturtel as a Videoconference Sales/Support Specialist. Pamela leaves behind her devoted parents Diane and David Packard of Largo, FL and her loving sister Debra Packard of Austin TX, along with many caring friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Old North Church, 193 Salem St., North End, Boston on Saturday, February 1st at 10 AM. If you wish, you can make a donation in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society, 25 Stuart St., Boston, MA 02116 in Pamela's name. National Cremation Service 1-800-567-6697

Please know that Pam was much loved by her many friends. I met Pam through my sister Diane. Pam had great strength and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a very sweet woman. I think of her often.
