McCLUSKEY, Patrick Davitt 31, died unexpectedly on May 24, 2016. McCluskey, all Duxbury residents - and retained strong bonds with his many cousins, aunts and uncles, all of whom greatly valued Patrick's quick humor and unconditional love and support. Donations can be made to Father Bill's Place or any organization that helps people with addiction. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St , Kingston on Friday, May 27, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Dearest John and Robin,
We have not met but I knew your son Patrick. I just found out about his passing. I am deeply saddened. I live in California and only visit Duxbury once every summer. I live a very busy life but I always send Patrick a message when I'm there, hoping to catch him. I have to say he was a stand up guy and very genuine. The short time that I knew him, felt like I knew him all my life. He made me feel welcome in a strange place. I miss him dearly. My condolences to you and your family. Sending prayers.

Magoo, these past two years or so have been filled with ups, downs and you were always a solid friend to me. I don't know how I am going to finally realize I'm not going to ever see you again. Even talking to people about attending your services; I feel like its a bad dream. Please help look after all that are left behind to deal with this and are still struggling themselves. Until we meet again R.I.P.

John, Robin and Family,

We are deeply saddened by the news of Patrick's passing. We remember meeting Patrick years ago as he shucked oysters with a big smile at our annual Fall cocktail parties. He was always a very polite young man that went out of his way to say hello and ask how things are going. We enjoyed talking with him last week at the Duxbury Oyster Fest as he served up some great oysters. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
