Waltham Police Sgt., of Waltham, January 22, 2005. Beloved husband of Rose P. (DeMeo) Rizzo. Devoted father of Mrs. Patricia A. Vasquezi of Waltham & Mrs. Lawrence W. (MaryAnn) Hart of Framingham. Brother of the late Frances Iannuzzo, Rose Lombardo, Josephine Rizzo, Mary Rizzo & Jerome Rizzo. Father-in-law of the late Dennis E. Vasquezi. Loving grandfather of Michael D. Vasquezi & his wife Jennifer (Coleman) Vasquezi, Steven A. Vasquezi of Waltham & Matthew P. Hart of Framingham. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM Friday morning at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at the Sacred Heart Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 PM, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Flowers are appreciated or expressions of sympathy may be made in Peter's memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 1 Bromfield Street, Boston, Ma., 02108 or to the Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street Waltham, Ma. 02453. Parking attendants will be on duty.

We're both so sorry to hear of Peter's death. What a wonderful man he was. We're hoping to come to the wake but under some circumstances we may not make it. Our sympathies go out to your whole family. Know that we're thinking of you.

Peter and I go way back. We worked on the police dept., together and both enjoyed photography. He was a fine police officer and a true gentleman.
