RICHARD SUTTON Obituary

SUTTON, Richard Y. "Dick" Of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Wellesley, MA, passed away at 93. Loving husband to the late Barbara L. Sutton and Judi Hobensack. Dick was born and grew up in Newton, MA, where he made many lifelong friends. He went on to have an illustrious career in the wholesale leather business, eventually forming his own company, Sutton Leather Sales. He traveled all over the northeast, and truly enjoyed his job and the people he met along the way. Dick was known for his friendly and open nature. Everybody was always happy to see him when he walked into the room. He was an avid golfer and paddle tennis player and member of Brae Burn Country Club for years. On the weekends, he could be found hosting a cookout for family/friends. He was known for his dancing skills and had a passion for driving and crossword puzzles. Even into his 90s, he could be found sitting in his recliner chair with a cup of coffee working the puzzle of the day. He wass predeceased by his wife, Barbara; brother, Harry; and sister, Barbara O'Neil. He is survived by his wife, Judi Hobensack; his sons, Peter and Adam Sutton; and daughter, Andrea. He leaves five grandchildren, Megan, Kyle, and Cori Sutton, and Sam and Maddie White; as well as two nephews and their families, Ward and Mark Sutton. His life was a life well lived, and was full of many blessings.
