to all the yee sisters and wendell, my deepest sympathies. your brother liked to affect a macho personality, but he was -- really -- always smiling, cheerful and helpful. the chinatown legends of my youth are disappearing. sigh.

Uncle Ron was a wonderful man. I haven't seen him in more than 30 years, but I have fond memories of staying at his home while I did research on my thesis. he was so supportive; he even let me drive his car to New Haven to do research at Yale.
