Dear Mom, it's so hard to think about closing this guest book because it really feels like goodbye all over again. We love you so much and keep you close in our hearts and in all that we do. There are so many times this past year when we wanted to call or visit to share the joys of our lives with you - and, well, some of the difficult times too. But none has been as difficult as losing you. Who is going to tell me that I'm the best or that my kids are the best - I guess you've left that up to us. I hope we can live up to it. I love you so much, and will miss you always.

Can't believe it's been a year since I talked to you, Mom. I still have five messages on my cell phone from you, though, so I still hear your voice. I miss you terribly. I know this guest book is closed in one day, but had to write one more time. I miss you; we all miss you. You meant everything to me and more.

I would like to share and express my sorrow and sypathy to all of Sheila's friends and family. As they were to so many, Billy and Sheila were so much more than friends. I'm sorry that I won't be there tomorrow, but I will be there in spirit. I miss them both terribly.

Dear Friends:
Mere words cannot begin to adequately express my sentiments to you on the passing of your beloved mother, my loving and devoted friend for more than three decades. I shall miss her as much as I miss Billy, and find it very difficult to process the enormity of this sad reality. She was fortunate to have the love, devotion, and attention of wonderful children and step-children, and I know her memory and Billy's will be as great and good blessings for all of you. My grief is mingled with your tears.
With profound condolences and understanding.

Mom, we are missing you so much, and it's so hard not to be able to pick up the phone and call you today on your birthday. I am so very thankful for your love and your wonderful spirit. You believed in us and gave us the gift to believe in ourselves...to put family first but also find a way to try to make the world a better place. You touched so many lives in a wonderful way. I have loved talking with people these past few days who knew you and loved you. I am so lucky to have you as my mom, always.
I love you so much,
Nancy

To Sheila's loving family,
The heartache we feel upon the loss of Sheila is a mirror reflection of our love for her in life. May the happy memories of her love for us and ours for her be a source of strength and a reason for thankfulness at this difficult time. With prayers for Sheila's peace,
Gail and Paul Kirk
