I wanted to write in this book once again. Since I heard the tragic news about stephaine all the memories I ever had with her seemed to come back. There has been alot of them and I sit in think how do you lose touch with someone who once had such a special place in your heart. I don't know if I can ever pin point the time we really lost touch, maybe we went two different places in are life. All I can say to everyone reading this, keep the people you love close because you never know when they are going to be gone. Stephaine I wish more then anything I could have been there for you. God rest your soul. your friend, Shannon

TO THE FAMILY OF STEPHANEY

I was shocked and saddened when I heard Stephanie had passed on. Words seem so useless at a time like this, but I had to let you know how much I hurt with you. I only met Stephaney twice and felt that I had known her all my life. I knew she was the kind of daughter any parent would be proud of. I was proud to know her and enjoy a small piece of her short life even though it was mostly over the phone. She was my pen pal and I was her phone jockey. Her beauty, her self-confidence, her friendly charm, and her youth were evidence of the fact that she was loved very much at home. With her beautieful face and friendly smile she touched the hearts of everyone she met. The world has lost a piece of sun shine and all we can do is ask why. The why's of life never get answered but at a time like this , all we can say is "WHY"

Our mothers bring us into this world and give us love but when we leave, we leave alone and it's so sad. I seen you today for the last time in this life Stephanie but you won't be alone for long. Soon we will all join you in heaven with god. I will miss you

IN MY MIND

Somewhere in my dreams tonight

I'll see you standing there

You look at me with a smile

"Life isn't always fair"

You say you were chosen for his garden

His preciously hand picked bouquet

"God really needed me,

That's why I couldn't stay"

It's said to be that angels

Are sent from above

I've always had my angel

My friend - whose heart was filled with love

Wherever the ocean meets the sky

There will be memories of you and I

When I look up at that sky so blue

All I see are visions of you

While there's a heart in me, you'll be a part of me

FRIENDS UNTIL THE END

We used to talk

We used to laugh

We were best of friends

I thought that's how it would always be

I wish it were still the same

But someday I know it will

Maybe not today

But we'll meet up again

It won't be long until I see your face

In Heaven some day

"FROM ALL THE GIRLS"

April 18, 2005

God looked around His garden

And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth,

And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautieful

He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough,

And the hills were hard to climb.

So he closed your weary eyelids,

And wispered "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to loose you,

But you didn't go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

When I am dead,

cry for me a little.

Think of me sometimes,

but not to much.

It is not good for you, or your wife

or your husband, or your children

to allow your thoughts to dwell

too long on the dead.

Think of me now and again as I was

in life at some moment which it

is pleasant to recall.

But not too long.

Leave me in peace as I shall

leave you, too, in peace.

While you live, let your thoughts be with the living.

I will never forget her and I know she is with God now and he will protect her. I love you Stephanie.
