I always thought about you Tommy.
I hoped to see you again all these years later to tell you what a kind and decedent man/human you were to me all those years ago at the A&P, before you went back into the Army. Im sad I missed you. I guess Ill have to wait a little longer to see you and our Savior. Peace to you and thank you for serving our country and again for your kindness towards me. I never forgot you and never will.

Back in the day, then Staff Sergeant Falter was my Squad Leader and eventually my Platoon Sergeant in B Company 1st/75th Ranger Battalion from approximately 1980-83. Great man, great soldier, and absolutely "Harder than Woodpecker lips!" I wish I could have stayed in contact with Tom after he left 1/75, but we both had seperate military paths and just lost contact. I will never ever forget him as a great soldier and respected friend of mine. I fully realize this posting of mine is years late, but my search for him on this very day uncovered he has already departed us all. My sincere condolences to Tom's family and his dearest of friends.
Very respectfully, Henry Carpenter

Rest in Peace Tom,
you were an icon growing up in Brighton. My family had so many great times and good laughs with you growing up. We all had different aspirations but from day one you always had your sights on serving our country and you did it proudly and willingly and with honor. You were the toughest of the tough and the most loyal of all. We were all proud of you and will always remember the growing up days.
Rest now.
My condolences to all the Falter family and Ruth
