Tom, your precious physical life was cut prematurely, but you live within all those who loved you. All the good that was you then, still lives in our hearts.

Love,
Leora Robinson.

There are no words to express the sadness I, and undoubtedly so many others, feel over the loss of this wonderful human being. I don't believe that anything written or spoken can properly express what the loss of Tom means to me. I had not seen him in many years, but during the years I did know Tom, I got to see his strength of character, and know the love he had in his heart. He may have kept quiet and often to himself, but Tom had a great deal going on in that huge heart of his, as well as in his sharp mind. I could write a hundred pages about Tom and still not come close to touching what a decent, smart, kind, and generous man he was. I will never, ever forget Tom. He will live in my heart always.

This world is surely a much diminished place without Tom. His sudden departure is simply not fair. How can it be that this gentle, funny, decent, artistic, bright and modest young man is taken so young, when there is still so much to live for?

Tom was once, many years ago, a very important and dear part of my family, but even in the ensuing years when we lost touch, he still remained a very important and dear part in our hearts. I wish more than anything that he had known just how much my family really respected and cared for him.

Tom, may all those who loved you and experienced your love in return find solace in those good memories.

Tom, may you rest in eternal peace now.

Love, Leora Robinson

I knew Tom when he was a lifeguard and a college student. I had the pleasure of flying with Tom (he was an excellent pilot) and I ran the last few miles of the Marine Corps Marathon with him just to cheer him on. I'll never forget those experiences b/c I have rarely met such a kind, calm, positive and disciplined person. He dated my best friend and I considered him a friend as well. I haven't seen him in over 22 years, but I will always have very dear memories of Tom. He was a wonderful and very special human being. You will be missed Tom.
