My wife Janice and I were good friends of Tom and his brother Bill when we all lived on Beacon Hill 1958-1962. We remember Tom's sense of humor and his open-minded attitude toward our many discussions of the "great" questions of the time. He was truly a "mensch".

I am sorry I missed seeing Tom's death notice. I met him through the Catholic Alumni Sodality. Tom was one of those people who just made life grander simply by meeting him. It was an honor knowing him. Jim O'Sullivan
