To The Doogan Family,
Sorry to hear the loss of Bill. I got to know him while mowing lawns back in West Roxbury. He always had a smile, a story and a cold Pepsi for everyone. He enjoyed life and he was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. I am sure he is looking down with pride on his whole family.

To all the Doogan Family,
I didn't know your father well but I did recently have the pleasure of working with the Doogan brother's on the grand jury and from them I can tell that their father must have been a great man to know.

My Mom left a previous message but I wanted to share what I remember most about Mr. Doogan ( pop pop)
I was 3 or 4 years old and he taught me how to turn by tricycle around in his driveway! It was 16 years ago, but I've never forgotten it. My sympathies to Billy, Megan,Jimmy, Colleen, Mikey, Bridget, Kathleen, and Liam. And to Mike and Karen Doogan who always made me feel welcome in their home and treated me like one of their own, and never gave up on me. After seeing so many people at the wake, I know how many people cared about your Dad and Grandfather and I know why. May you rest in peace Pop Pop's.
p.s. Thanks for the e-mail Billy.

To the whole Doogan Clan, We are so sorry to hear of the sad news of Pop Pop's passing. Our hearts are broken. We will always remember him spraying with the hose all of his cars, the sidewalk and driveway to remove those nasty bird droppings. Jennifer, Katelyn and Paul always mention growing up on Glenhaven with Pop Pop's as their adoptive Grampa always watching out for them, and always inviting them for a swim or just for a chat with him. Pop Pop's and Grandma (Maureen) have been an added part of EVERYONE'S family. We feel privileged to have known Pop Pop's and his entire family.
Rest in Peace, Love,
Theresa, Jennifer, Katelyn & Paul, III, McIrney

Dear Maureen, Mike, Billy, Kevin, Maureen, Brenda, and all of the Doogan Gang. ( Grandchildren & spouses) I wa so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband, father, and Pop Pop's. Such a huge loss for so many. I will always remember his kindness to me and my son Patrick while living on Glenhaven. Patrick at age 3 would tell me he was going to see "Pop Pop's and we would walk to the house to find him tinkering with one of his "many" prized possesion's ( his car's) Pop Pop's as he was so lovingly called that yes even the kids in the neighborhood called him that! He loved all the kid's and they loved him. He was such a great guy and will be sorely missed. Always so welcoming. One would never know who you might find hanging out in the Doogan's kitchen! And everyone was welcome! My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. May the wonderful memories you have of him, carry you through this difficult time.
Love and Peace,
Joey & Mae Vitello
