Goodbye, Bill. We were friends many moons ago and I just heard of your passing. You were one of the sweetest guys to ever work at AMEX. You will always be remembered fondly by your friends from AMEX, even the ones who left a long time ago or who worked in travel and not card division. Rest in peace.

I was blessed to have known Bill from our days as teammates on the BC football ball team. He was an extraordinary athlete with incredible determination. He was also a gentleman in every sense. RIP my friend.

A great athlete and better friend. He was one of the AWHS "running guards" when he wasn´t playing fullback. At BC as a nose tackle he destroyed the center of the opponent´s line. He never quit on a play until the whistle blew. Just a great classmate and friend.

Bill will always be remembered for his warm smile, his sincerity, his quiet demeanor and for always being a true gentleman ! Bill was also what we think of as a 3-F man. FAMILY, FAITH AND FRIENDS were of prime importance in his life. Bill will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have crossed his path. God Bless you, Bill. I pray that it will not be long before the sadness your family is feeling now will turn to loving memories.

Bill was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. He fought his lymphoma with strength and was always so positive despite the side effects of the treatment. Thinking and praying for you Mary.

As members of the Newton Swing Band, Bill and I encouraged each other to sing songs and have fun!
I always loved it when he would volunteer to sing more "modern" songs than what the swing band usually plays, as they add some variety and makes the band more interesting to audiences of all ages. I will truly, truly miss speaking to this quiet gentleman who had a warm smile always to my "How are you doing today?" I was not aware that he was seriously ill as he came to practice just recently. He must really love his trumpet!!!
I love you Bill! and now miss you so much!!!
