Remembering Dr. Demirjian, who saved my life just in the nick of time. I am so thankful for the privilege of still being here on Earth to enjoy my husband, children, grandchildren, friends, and the beauty of our world, and I owe it to him, and to Dr. Ephraim Hochberg to whom Dr. Demirjian immediately referred me and who began treatment immediately and saved my life. Dr. Demirjian was an amazing and wonderful man and doctor, and I am blessed to have been connected with him by Dr. Dienstag. I am forever thankful to all these incredible MGH doctors for my beautiful life. Sending holiday blessings to Dr. Demirjian's family on the anniversary of his death.

I think and speak of Dr. D so often. I miss him so much. He was such a great mentor and friend to all of us in the Hematology Lab at MGH. Although he is no longer physically with us, his legacy lives on. Thank you for being such a good friend.

Thank you, Dr. Demirjian and Margo for saving my life by diagnosing my Lymphoma immediately and definitively. You were kind, supremely knowledgeable, and laser focused on getting me "plugged in" to the MGH path for treatment. I owe you my life. My deepest sympathy to you, Margo, and your family. You will both remain in my heart forever.

Dear Margo, I just learned of Dr Demirjian's passing am shocked. I will never forget how he did so much for my mother and my family. He is still the only doctor I have had who always remembered all the important things when I went to see him. He knew his patients. What a great doctor and a kind man. (I remember the lectures my dad asked him to give me. What doctor does that? only one who really cares.) God Bless him, you and your family. Pam Habib

Dear Margo,
Jose and I are still in shock over Dr. D's passing. He was Jose's rock when he went thru a terrible illness 17 years ago. Dr. D. was always there in his office when I would go there unexpectedly while Jose was recooperating from surgery. Dr. D. continued to see Jose even when he decreased his work load. We both can hear Dr. D's voice when he would see Jose "Jose, what do you think is wrong with you now. Jose often says "Dr. D. saved my life, I would not be here if it weren't for him. We send to you and your our heartfelt sympathy. Sincerely, Jose and Carol Rocha

Dear Margo and Family,
We are just learned of Dr. D's passing. We thought of him not only as a physician but as a family member. He was gifted to become a doctor and was always there for Jose. He will not be forgotten.

Terribly sorry to hear this sad news. Zareh was someone I greatly respected and was very fond of at MGH; he was very kind and a wonderful teacher. He also kept my 47 year old wind -up watch that my father gave me working! He will be sorely missed by all of us at the hospital.
