My condolences to Joe´s family. I worked with him regularly in the 80s as a Suffolk ADA. A fine police officer and a nice man. God Bless.

So sorry to hear that Joe passed. He and I were hired for the MBTA PD in May of 1971 and served a few years together. Many from our class did well, but Joe surpassed us. I never heard a bad word about Joe and will always remember him as a friend. RIP, my friend. David LeRay Jr., Lt. MBTA PD, retired.

I knew Joe when we all started on the MBTA PD, and he was part of the Brighton group with Kevin Crawford and later Billy Laing. He was a great guy and fun to work with and be around socially. Later, I would often see him in court when he was assigned to the drug unit, and we would share a laugh about the "good old days." I'm sorry to hear of his passing but his family can rest assured that Joe will command the respect of those around him in heaven and share a few laughs with the crowd from Oak Square. May you rest in peace my friend.
