Daniel Reid Obituary

Daniel G. Reid, 45, of Bradenton, passed away unexpectedly September 3, 2006. Born in St, Louis, Missouri, he moved to Bradenton in 1988. Dan was a fleet supervisor for Manatee County Transit and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Terrie; loving son, Daniel Jeremy Reid, of Bradenton and his beloved daughter, Danielle Reid of St. Louis. Also surviving are his brother and eight sisters and two precious grandchildren, Christa Resinger and Haley Reid. He was predeceased by his parents, JC and Louise Reid, two brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6-8p.m. at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave. East. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 10a.m. at the funeral home with entombment to follow.

To Terry and Family, I worked with Dan on the nightshift at Manatee County and I would just like to pass on my sincere deepest sympathies to you and your family. In the short time I knew Dan I found him to be a hard worker and a man of great character. He will surely be missed by us in the transit division.

terry, this is from danny's neice cathy, iam peach and harolds daughter i dont know if you remember me, i grew up with dan. mom and dad are not able to come to the funeral, mom is on oxygen 24/7, she doesn't go anywhere except to the doctor. but we want to send our deepest sympathy. we all loved dan very much. if there is anything we can do please call or if you need someone to talk to.
