Helen Squire Obituary

Helen Marie Squire, 83, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Tidewell Hospice House, Bradenton. Born June 2, 1927, Mercer County, IL, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Squire, and parents Harold Cravens and Edith Hill Cravens. Surviving are her children Gary Squire, Lynmarie Burg, Tim Squire; grandchildren, Corey Squire, Amy Gibson, Jen Page, Aaron Burg, Jordan Burg, James Squire, Taylor Burg, Elizabeth Squire; five great grand-children; and brother James Cravens. Helen attended Indiana Central College and Western Illinois University. She was a 4-H and Home Extension leader prior to moving from Galesburg to Florida in 1993. Helen was a friend to many in River Isles and Bible Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., May 2, Bible Baptist Church, 2113 57th St. E., Bradenton, FL, 34208. Memorials may be made to her church, and Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL, 34238.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom, she was a dear friend of our family. I grew up riding in old antique cars with them, yor dad drove me away from the church at my wedding - such wonderful memories with them.
