Iris Luke Obituary

Iris Luke, 90, of Ellenton passed away November 20, 2009. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years George Luke. Survivors include her sons, Paul(Loretta)Luke of Ocala FL, Wesley Luke of Ellenton, FL; Daughters Maxcine Adams of Ona FL, Geraldine Joyner of Plant City, FL; brother's Wiley Paul Phillips of Cleveland, TN and George Phillips of Chesnee, SC, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, November 23, 6-8 pm at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday November 24 at 11:00am at Palmetto Church of God, 209 7th Street West.

Aunt Gerri,
To you and all your family we send our heartfelt sympathy. I thank the Lord for the privilege of meeting your mom and the times of fellowship we were able to spend with her in her home. I know that you all will greatly miss her.But thank God for that Great re-union day were all goning to have one day soon. There will be no more seperation there. What a day that will be.
