Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - A resident of Bradenton, FL, James M. Auch, Jr. was born January 16, 1938 to James M. Auch and Sara Golembeski. He graduated from Malvern Preparatory School and West Chester University where he met his late wife, Penelope M. Auch (nee Fox). They were married over 60 years until her passing in 2021. Jim taught math and coached football at several schools, including over 20 years at The Episcopal Academy until retiring in 2002. He is survived by his sons, James M. Auch III (Christina) and Jeffrey W. Auch (George Russell), his two granddaughters, Casey V. Auch and Emma C. Auch, his sister, Margaret Watson and his sisters-in-law, Kim Auch and Anna Auch.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Clare McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home, 7384 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Funeral service will be held at the Class of 1944 Chapel at the Episcopal Academy, 1785 Bishop White Drive, Newtown Square, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to The Episcopal Academy, 1785 Bishop White Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073.

So sad to lose the last of my Auch uncles. Such a good man as they all were. They are probably all sitting on a beach and frolicking in the waves at the family beach house in heaven!
