He has achieved numerous awards, statewide, for prize winning orchids. He was the current president of Manatee River Orchid Society. He loved to bring beauty and the joy of nature into the lives of people. His greatest joy was enriching their way of life. He was a creative genius whose reward was sharing this gift with others. His zest for life will be missed by all who knew him. Member of Manatee River Orchid Society, American Institute of Floral Designers, American Orchid Society, he was a Catholic. Survivors include Vincent Maciejewski, father; and Marc Pease, partner of fourteen years.
