Your brother is getting married to a beautiful young lady! All of these things happening and all good. I love and miss you so much! I´m sending you big hugs! Every day that passes it gets harder to accept you're gone. I don't understand why this has happened and my heart hurts so bad to think I will never see you again and you will never get to see your son - Joel - grow up! You were friends with so many people and are missed by all of them. You were always a "ladies man" (which also happened to be your favorite movie). Your smile was contagious and your willingness to always help everyone was one of your best qualities. I hope your driving that truck you always wanted pulling your airboat and bass boat that you always wanted. I hope your fishing with your grandpa and hunting with uncle Joel and partying like a rock star with all your friends! I WILL see you again one day in paradise! Keep a watch over us all, and help Joel get through this sad time! He really needs your guidance and protection. Wrap your arms tight around him, he misses you so bad! I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO BAD!

We wish we could have spent more time with you and tell you what was in our hearts. No matter what, we have always loved you. When I close my eyes and picture your face, I see you as a little boy in my Jiu-Jitsu class. You were the first kid I ever promoted. You have been in our prayers each night. We wish things would have turned out differently. It comforts us to know you accepted Jesus as your personal savior. We know you are at peace fishing with Papa and playing with your dogs. Joshua, my son, I loved you more than life itself! You were my rock and always made me smile on my worst days. You brought me my first dachshund at a very low time in my life. I can't understand why this happened and I never will. You were doing so well for so long. You had a great job, a truck and a roof over your head. If I could fly to heaven and find out why, it would make my life so much easier. Your son is so heart broken too. My heart hurts so bad to think you'll never see him grow up. I'm so heart broken, I can't stand it! Be sure you meet me at those pearly gates, because one day I will be there and your the first one I want to see! I love you so much and miss you even more!

Josh, we grew up together ..had many fun times ..you always made me laugh and had some of the most intalectual conversations together about life and our future... My son, I miss you more than words can ever say! You were my rock and always knew what to say to make me laugh on my worst days. Many years ago, you brought me my first dachshund to pull me out of a major depression I was in. You called me every night just to say goodnight if you weren't home. We never missed saying "I love you" every day. You gave me the most wonderful grandson I could ever ask for. I was so proud of you for getting your life back on track. I just knew things were going to turn around this time for you. Your son is just as heart broken as I am. You will never get to see him grow up, graduate, get married, have your grandchildren and this breaks my heart too. All we have left now are memories - they are all great memories - but that's all we have to hold on to. Time DOES NOT heal the pain! You've been gone a month and it feels like eternity! You were loved my so many friends and family, you had a great job, a truck and a roof over your head, not to mention all the love and support you could ask for! I just can't understand why this happened! If I could fly up to heaven and get the answers, it would make this a whole lot easier. My heart hurts so bad and I will never get over this! I know your demons and pains are all gone now and that's about the only comfort I can get right now. I hope you are having so much fun in heaven with all your friends and family that are up there with you. Please wait for me at Heaven's pearly gates, because one day I will be there with you! I love you so much and miss you even more!

When your mom was pregnant with you, we were all so excited! Babysitting for you was so easy because you were the best baby! Always smiling and happy, always. As you grew up, you remained sweet, funny, and smart. You would give someone the shirt off of your back if they needed it. Your son, Joel, loves you so much and he looks just like you! You were a wonderful father to Joel. We are going to miss you terribly. Fly high and peacefully with the angels! I know you're fishing with Papa too. Uncle Karl, Aunt Stacy, Kyle, and Katelynn love you with all of our heart!
