Until I moved from Brdford, Mark and I played a lot of sports together. He was a fierce competitor. We went to Bills games and made fun of each other when we did something, not so smart. He always had a great laugh and caring intension. Smitty, you will be missed. RIP

When the Wellsboro operation of Dresser closed in 1993 and I was transferred to Bradford, Mark was one of the men I worked with very closely. He was extremely intelligent, industrious. humble and never said "No" to any of my numerous requests. During the next fifteen years we became good friends and his passing is a very sad occasion for me and many others to accept. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
