Bernice Gauthier Obituary

Bernice E. Gauthier 1931 - 2009 BRATTLEBORO Bernice E. Dalrymple Gauthier, 77, died Wednesday in Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, following a period of declining health. She was born in Brattleboro on Aug. 11, 1931, daughter of Ernest and Alice Dubey Dalrymple, and was a lifelong resident of town. She attended Brattleboro schools. Mrs. Gauthier was employed as a nurse at the Thompson House in Brattleboro for many years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Mountain View S.D.A. Church in Vernon. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and baking for friends and neighbors. A collector of frog figurines, she loved all animals, especially her cats and birds. She leaves a son, Henry J. Gauthier of Marlboro, Vt.; two daughters, Ann Gauthier of Montague City, Mass., and Elaine Seabury of Chicopee, Mass.; and five grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Mountain View S.D.A. Church, 1002 Fort Bridgman Road in Vernon with Arthur Miller, pastor, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Windham County Humane Society, Rt. 30, Brattleboro, VT 05301.

Bernice was a good friend for many years. She was very kind hearted and we had many laughs together. She was always caring and checking up on my mother (Katherine H. Wright). We will all miss you, Bernice.
