David Parsons Obituary
David grew up in Swanzey and graduated from Monadnock High School. He earned a bachelor's from UNH and then an MBA from Plymouth University. A hard worker, he held various management positions in Brattleboro, VT including owner of Parsons Hearing Solutions. Davids passion for skiing lead him to be a Ski School Director and NASTAR Pace Setter at Snow Ridge in NY, and a Mount Snow/Vail Resorts Race Coach for more than 26 years. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors fishing, golfing, and building, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Deborah (Akins) Parsons of Vernon, VT; son Andrew Parsons of Vernon, VT; daughter Stephanie Parsons of Brattleboro, VT; grandchildren Zoey and Jax of Brattleboro, VT; mother Janet Parsons of Keene, NH; sister Lynn Ziman and her husband Bob of Swanzey, NH; and nieces Sarah Dresser of Swanzey, NH and Becky Ziman of Dover, NH. He was predeceased by his father Albert C. Parsons.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3PM to 6PM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Cheshire Family Funeral Home, 44 Maple Ave., Keene NH 03431.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in memory of David to Mount Snow Ski Club Scholarship Fund, which provides support to athletes participating in training programs. Checks can be made out to the Mount Snow Ski Club, P.O. Box 46, West Dover, Vermont, 05356, or via Venmo: @mountsnowskiclub.
