Esther was such a sweet lady - her son Gary was one of our best friends and years ago, my first husband, Phil Astley and I used to bring our son Ryan to visit - especially on Halloween and she was always so happy to see us, no matter how long in between visits. Thinking of you, Wanda, Kathy and families as you say good-bye to your beloved Mom.

Our earth lost an angel but heaven gained a dear Angel. Her sister Bunny sends her love to her wonderful sister.

I am so sorry to hear that Esther has passed away. She was a very caring person. She made many visits to her sister, Bunny who is at Pine Heights in Brattleboro. There are not many people that go the extra mile to bring love and cheer to those in such places. She was an angel in life and will be one in death.

Dear Wanda and Kathy,
I have so many fond memories of your mom and dad including some wicked, wild and totally fun card games. In our younger years we spent a lot of time together and she was a great help to me in many ways especially as a sitter for Mary Ellen. Am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in your good memories and happier times.
