Janice Page Obituary
1957 - 2014 SPRINGFIELD Janice G. Page 57, passed away at her home on Sunday morning Nov. 9, surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 3, 1957 in Townshend, Vt. the daughter of Kenneth and Joyce E. ( Kingsbury) Coleman. She graduated from Leland and Gray High School in Townshend. She worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years as a Clerk at the Chester, Vt. Post Office. On Oct. 7, 1989, she married Reginald M. Page at the Weathersfield Center Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, sold Mary Kay products, and was a Hostess at the Miller Art Center in Springfield. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, gardening and flowers, she also enjoyed reading and loved animals. She was a wonderful wife and mother, devoting her life to her family and supporting her daughters in every way. She is survived by her husband, Reg, of Springfield; two daughters, Alaina M. Page and Courtney A. Page, both of Springfield; her mother, Joyce Coleman, of Springfield; two brothers, Raymond Coleman and his wife, Josephine, of Springfield, and Melvin Coleman and his wife, Grace, of Londonderry, Vt.; also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Ian, and by her father, Kenneth. FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends may call at the DAVIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL in Springfield on Thursday evening Nov. 13 from 6 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday Nov. 14, at the Davis Memorial Chapel. The Reverend James Dowse pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center One Medical Center Drive Lebanon, NH 03756 or to the Springfield Humane Society 401 Skitchewaug Trail Springfield, VT 05156.

Missing you all the time my BFF. The holidays, especially Thanksgiving, when we would chit chat about what we are making for dinner on the night before was always the highlight of my holiday. Couple glasses of wine and the giggles. Hard to believe where the time has gone but it feels like yesterday when I got to talk to you last. I miss you more than you know❤

Mike and I just now found out about Janice's passing and our hearts are heavy. We are so very sorry for the loss of this special woman. Janice always brought a smile to our faces at the post office...or when we were lucky enough to meet her somewhere else during our day. Our deepest condolences to you Reg, and to your girls and extended families. We will miss her smile, joy, upbeat attitude and strength. She is with Ian now.....and we are sure that the reunion was amazing. She will be with all of us through the wonderful memories she provided to each of us,....and for the many smiles and laughter we shared. May God give each of you the strength that can be hard to find in these difficult days. Janice, thanks for touching our lives with your gifts. You fought so hard....and now it is time to rest. You did well in this world....may your journey onward be one of peace.

You know someone is extraordinarily special when half a dozen sincere women introduce themselves saying "Janice was my best friend" and another dozen young people tell you Janice was their second Mom...You made everyone feel loved and special. We didn't have enough time
together my friend, but I have come to understand that people that had a decade or four with you feel it wasn't enough either. Your feisty ability to live and love large will live on in those you have raised and touched so deeply. Joyce, Reg and Family, I am so sorry to hear that Janice has passed. But can only pray that now she is at peace and resting after her long journey that she had. She may be gone but all her memories will stay with us all forever as she did not move on before she showed us all how loving and understanding and passionate she was towards all of us. I can remember many fun times we had in our younger years and even thought as we went separate paths as we grew up we crossed paths thru our older years and I will always keep those times close to my heart.
